Whether you are brand new to the church thing or you’ve been around church for a while; we welcome you! Brooks Avenue Church of Christ creates environments and experiences to encounter God and build a relationship with Him in the midst of your life. When you visit on a Sunday morning, our aim is that you would feel welcomed and be inspired by the singing, encouraged by the message, welcomed by our amazing body of believers & be reminded that God’s grace is here!
Gathering Times
Sunday Morning – We meet at 9:30 for Bible class with classes for all age groups, including classes for those with special needs, and our worship service starts at 10:30. We would love to see you there!
Wednesday Night – We meet at the building at 6 for fellowship and a potluck, and class follows that at 7.

Our Environment
Brooks Avenue Church of Christ began in 1947. We have ~200 people at Sunday worship. We are located in an urban, neighborhood environment within the city of Raleigh. We are inside the I-440 beltway and near North Carolina State University.
We gather from diverse backgrounds of age, race, socio-economics, and political persuasion. Come as you are!
Some visitors sometimes find our bible-based tradition to sing acapella (without instruments), or a weekly celebration of the Lord’s Supper (also called communion), or our practice to baptize by immersion as unique. We are pleased to study this or any other Bible topic with you.
Accommodations
You will find two visitors’ centers where you will be greeted and assisted in finding a Bible class of interest to you. We offer a variety of classes for all ages. Our building is handicap accessible. If you have challenges with hearing, stop by the welcome desk and pick up one of our auditory support devices.
We offer an attended nursery for children from six months to two years of age. We provide a special “worship” time for preschool children, where trained and dedicated staff help the children begin to develop a love for God and his word.
