Children’s Ministry

Our children’s ministry is dedicated to building relationships between kids, teachers, parents and the larger body of Christ. Sunday morning classes are available for kids 6 months old through high school. Our bible-based curriculum explores God’s relationship with humankind and His plan for our salvation. Our smallest kids enjoy play-based learning with a focus on God’s love for them. Elementary age children can expect to study from God’s word, discuss real world applications, and spend time with a fun game or craft. After 5th grade, kids are encouraged to transition into our middle school and high school youth group.   Our youth group regularly participates in devotionals, Friday night social events, retreats, WinterFest, the Leadership Training in Christ program and Carolina Bible Camp.  All adults who work with children have passed a background check and security officers are on duty during church events.  A security check in procedure ensures that children are safely picked up by their family at the end of classes and other events.

Children of all ages are welcome in our worship services. However, we know that infants, toddlers and preschools may need a place to move and play while their parent’s worship. Supervised care for children ages 6 months through 4 years is available during most worship services in the infant and preschool rooms located in the basement.
