The body of Christ includes people from many backgrounds, who wish to build strong and long-lasting relationship with a diverse group of people seeking to serve Him!
We have classes, ministries, programs and activities for all ages and genders. Examples include a weekly men’s (Friday mornings) and women’s (Tuesday mornings) Bible study groups, women’s social activities, a variety of social and Bible study meet-ups, and prayer support. The churches of Christ use the Bible as our only doctrine, therefore our studies are generally bible based. We also support the formation of small groups of from three to six people who are interested in having in depth bible study that moves each member through the progression to become disciples who are making disciples of Christ.

Hello. I wish for prayer for myself and my relationship to Christ and other Christians to be Christ-centered. I live in Durham and want to visit Brooks Avenue Church of Christ because my brother and sister-in-law, who are members, have been examples for me throughout their adult life through sacrifice, love of others and service. I am thankful that God has allowed me to come to the realization that I need a closer relationship with Him through Christ. Thank you.
